Differs from heliocentric (Sun centered) astrology in that the Earth is in the center of the chart and the Sun seen as a planet. In fact, astrologers employ ~ astrology, which is one of the main reasons our discipline collides with astronomers. This simply means placing the earth in the middle of the zodiac. Horoscope: A natal or birth chart cast and drawn up by an astrologer which includes interpretation of the planets in their signs and aspects. ~: Placing the earth at the center of the zodiac. GRAND TRINE: When three planets meet each other to form a triangle. GRAND CROSS: Configuration in which four planets form mutual squares. ~: The convention that the Earth, rather than the Sun is at the center of the Solar System. The difference between the two is incorrectly termed the parallax. These are now generally calculated from the heliocentric places as given in the Nautical Almanac.
